A new flood-lit third generation (3G) artificial grass pitch was officially opened at Birches Head Academy on Thursday 28 September 2023 and is set to support pupils, the local and wider community. GCSE results day (Thursday 24 August 2023) saw scenes of delight as Year 11 students came into school to collect their results and celebrated their achievements with teachers, families and friends. An Exchange of well-being ideas and spaces 40 Birches Head Academy students have now travelled to Granada to work with our partner school, Escolapios Genil Granada mostly funded by the Turing Fund.
