On Tuesday 3rd November, we hosted our annual FFET Spelling Bee Final, bringing together the winners from our inter-school competitions for an exciting showcase of talent, determination and academic excellence.

As part of our Trust Be More programme, the event provides pupils with opportunities to develop confidence, communication skills and resilience alongside their academic studies, while celebrating their individual strengths and achievements.

Thirty finalists competed through multiple challenging rounds in a fiercely contested competition, demonstrating exceptional spelling ability under pressure. The standard throughout was incredibly high, making for an exciting and closely fought final.

Congratulations to all of our finalists for their outstanding effort, commitment and excellent spelling. Special recognition goes to this year’s top three competitors:

🥇 1st Place: Rio, Ellesmere Port Church of England College
🥈 2nd Place: Kenan, Birches Head Academy
🥉 3rd Place: Isla, Handforth Grange Primary School

Well done to every competitor for their hard work and determination. We are immensely proud of all the pupils who took part and represented their schools so brilliantly. Their enthusiasm and perseverance made this year’s final another fantastic success.
