Students from Birches Head Academy have achieved national recognition after their creative writing was selected for publication in the latest Young Writers’ Anthology.

Aleena, Aishat, and Crown have each had their work featured, marking a significant milestone in their development as young writers.

The Young Writers’ programme showcases poetry from students across the UK, offering a platform for emerging voices to be published and recognised on a wider stage. Selection for publication is competitive, making the achievement particularly noteworthy for the three students involved.

The students’ achievement has been warmly celebrated within the school community, with teachers expressing pride in their accomplishment and anticipation for their future development as writers.

As their work now appears alongside other young authors – Aleena, Aishat, and Crown join a growing number of students using creative writing to share ideas, stories, and perspectives beyond the classroom.
