Dear Parents / Carers,

I am delighted to share that we are intending to open as normal tomorrow, Wednesday 7th January. Our Site Team have continued to work tirelessly to clear access points and entrances around the Academy and based on the current weather and forecast overnight, the site will be safe to access.

All pupils are to arrive at the Academy by 8:35am as normal and all pupils are to enter via The Plaza steps where they will be welcomed by SLT and directed to Period 1, as their will be no Line Ups. Breakfast Club will be open as normal for all pupils to access a free breakfast to fuel for the day.

During Period 1 we will share updated timetables and complete a standards check on uniform and equipment, ensuring all pupils are meeting our high standards and expectations, and ready to learn.

Although improved, the main area of concern remains travel to the Academy and paths / roads around BHA, especially Birches Head Road. Please do remind your child to be safe walking to school and if you are driving in the morning, please do take care.

Thank you for your continued support in this situation and we look forward to welcoming all pupils back to BHA tomorrow – although conditions outside will still be cold, inside will be warm and we look forward to a great term ahead!

Many thanks,

Mr Masher
