Dear Parent/Carer,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I am writing to provide you with important information regarding the upcoming GCSE results day at Birches Head Academy.

On Thursday, 22nd August, our students will be able to collect their GCSE results from the Main Hall between 9:30 am and 11:00 am. This is an important milestone in their academic journey, and we are excited to celebrate their achievements with them.

During this time, representatives from the local colleges will be available to provide support and answer any queries your child may have about their next steps, whether that be further education, apprenticeships, or employment. We encourage you and your child to take advantage of this valuable resource.

If your child is unable to collect their results in person, they can request that someone else collect them on their behalf. To do so, they should email info@bircheshead.org.uk, providing the name and identification (such as a driving licence or passport) of the individual who will be collecting the results. Please note that due to GDPR regulations, we are not able to provide results to anyone else without both prior notification from the student and the presentation of identification on the day from the individual nominated to collect on the pupil’s behalf.

We are committed to supporting our pupils throughout this important transition, and we look forward to celebrating their hard work and success on results day.

Yours sincerely,

Ms P Phillips

Director of Standards
