Prince’s Trust Mosaic Group Visit Staffs Police Headquarters 26/06/18

Prince’s Trust Mosaic Programme

We have been running the Mosaic programme in school with The Prince’s Trust, to build Y10 students’ communication skills and encouraging them to think about their futures. The sessions are delivered by employer mentors, kindly giving their time to work with our students, which have included Suzy and Amy from Stoke on Trent College and David Morris, from the Police & Crime Commissioner’s Office. David invited the group to visit the Staffordshire Police Headquarters, where they met Matthew Ellis, Police and Crime Commissioner, along with trying their hand at forensics, watching the dog unit training and looking around the fire arms vehicles. What a fantastic opportunity, and hopefully we have some future officers in the group now!

We would like to thank all those involved with making the day such a success, and especially to David, who arranged the day.
